He has many years of professional experience in managing and supervising corporations in the Polish arms industry. He is a statutory auditor, specialising in financial management. He is an enthusiast of innovation and business ethics. He supervised and participated in many research and development projects for national security and their implementation into mass production. He has experience in implementing export contracts. He graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice, Faculty of Finance and Banking and postgraduate studies in accounting.

OBRUM Research and Development Center for Mechanical Equipment sp. z o. o. in Gliwice is one of the oldest and most unique scientific and research and development institutions in Poland. OBRUM develops products for the Polish Armed Forces. The main recipients of the work are the land forces, including mechanized, armored, radar, and engineering forces. Work on new products is carried out in a full cycle, i.e. from concept to serial production, which requires a highly qualified engineering and technical staff.

Company history

OBRUM boasts an impressive history spanning over five decades, tracing its roots back to the Experimental Production Plant at the ŁABĘDY Mechanical Works in 1968. In 1976, the company evolved into the Research and Development Center for Mechanical Equipment OBRUM.

OBRUM gained independence in 1986, operating as a fully autonomous state organizational unit with legal personality under the supervision of the Minister of Economy, adhering to the regulations governing research and development units.On April 1, 2008, OBRUM transformed into a commercial law company, operating under the name: OBRUM Research and Development Center for Mechanical Equipment, a limited liability company.

Through a State Treasury Agreement, OBRUM sp. z o. o.'s shares were contributed to the increased share capital of "BUMAR" sp. z o.o., and on December 30, 2009, OBRUM sp. z o. o. was incorporated into the BUMAR Group (currently the Polish Defense Holding), as a subsidiary.

Currently, ownership supervision over the activities of OBRUM sp. z o.o. is exercised by Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa S.A.as the dominant company in the PGZ Capital Group, which holds 71.82% of the shares of OBRUM sp. z o.o.

Code of Ethics

OBRUM has a Code of Ethics for Employees, which aims to set the right direction for the development of the organisational culture in the Centre, both in relations between employees and in external relations with the Company's Stakeholders.

Consistent compliance with ethical principles and values is a fundamental source of the Company's success, enabling it, on the one hand, to build a positive image of the Company in the market, and on the other to strengthen the identification of Employees with the Company, thanks to which the effectiveness of their work increases.

The Code of Ethics for OBRUM Employees is one of the elements ensuring continuous improvement of the Company's operations quality. The Code includes the main principles and standards of conduct of OBRUM Employees in the field of widely understood professional and social ethics, ensuring the accomplishment of the Company's mission and the implementation of its development strategy and customer satisfaction.

The Code was developed based on generally accepted rules of social coexistence, the observance of which is one of the basic obligations of an Employee in accordance with Article 100 § 2 (6) of the Act of 26 June 1974 – The Labour Code (consolidated text Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1502, as amended). The Company is guided by the principle of respect for the dignity of every human being and their personal rights, thus declaring respect for nationality, race, religion, gender and political orientation of its Employees, Associates, Customers and Contractors.
