Research and development

The research and development center for mechanical equipment OBRUM conducts in-depth scientific projects with the goal of creating engineering documentation for the production of new or upgrated military equipment.

At OBRUM, we excel in taking on projects and research stiudies essential to enhancing and modernizing equipment used by the Polish Army. Our main clients and beneficiaries are leading Defense industry companies, land troops, including tank brigades, radiolocation units, and engineering battalions. Our skilled research teams enable us to tackle tasks that require solving interdisciplinary scientific probles across a wide range of issues. The expertise and experience of our staff are evident in the quality and reliability of our final products.

Recognized as one of the premier scientific, research and development organizations in the country, OBRUM actively participates in the major programs aimed at modernizing Polish Armed Forces.

OBRUM serves as the R&D arm for the entire PGZ (Polish Armaments Group), providing expertise in engineering, modeling, construction, and testing of equipment including prototypes.

For over 55 years, products developed by OBRUM have been being developed in close collaboration with the Polish Ministry of Defense and, significantly  contributing to the enhancement of national security.
