This year, OBRUM’s presence at MSPO focused on the Company’s key areas of activity: mobile bridge systems, advanced training technologies, and modern solutions supporting the operation and development of the Polish Armed Forces.
Our exhibition featured both proven solutions and technologies designed to address the current needs of the modern battlefield. Particular emphasis was placed on projects aimed at ensuring military mobility, improving crew training, and integrating modern control systems.
One of the key elements of the exhibition was the MS-20 “Daglezja” accompanying bridge, one of OBRUM’s flagship products in the field of mobile bridge systems. The solution builds on the Company’s long-standing expertise in the design and development of engineering equipment intended to ensure military mobility and enable the efficient crossing of terrain obstacles.
The MS-20 system presentation was complemented by the MS-20 procedural simulator, which enables training under conditions replicating the actual procedures involved in operating the system. Tools of this kind make it possible to prepare personnel for working with the equipment while reducing operating costs and enhancing the safety of the training process.
During the exhibition, we also presented the OBRTrain mobile application, demonstrating a digital approach to supporting training and operational processes. Solutions of this kind represent one of the areas in which OBRUM is actively developing its capabilities, responding to the growing importance of digital tools in the preparation of military personnel.
The exhibition also featured a model of an assault bridge mounted on a K2 chassis, presenting a development direction for bridge solutions intended for modern armoured and mechanised forces. The project demonstrates OBRUM’s ability to combine its long-standing experience in bridge engineering with new platforms and the requirements of today’s armed forces.
The ZSSW-30 turret system gunnery simulator, configured for the Borsuk infantry fighting vehicle, attracted considerable interest from visitors. During the exhibition, the solution was extensively tested by users, including soldiers who work with the actual equipment on a daily basis.
The experience and feedback of personnel using the Borsuk IFV in practice were particularly valuable. Among those testing the simulator was, among others, a soldier serving as the vehicle commander. Direct feedback from users provides our team with an important source of knowledge and enables us to further assess the level of realism, ergonomics and practical value of the training solutions we are developing.
For OBRUM, this kind of cooperation with current and future users is of particular importance. It allows us to verify design assumptions against practical expectations, develop solutions based on real-world experience, and build systems that address genuine training requirements.
At MSPO 2026, we also presented a demonstrator of a universal integrated control panel for a modular mine-laying system. This is another example of OBRUM’s developing capabilities in the areas of control systems, functional integration and the design of solutions intended to work with modern military engineering systems.
This year’s exhibition was built around the concept of the “OBRUM Bridge Centre”. The concept emphasises that the Company is not focused solely on individual products, but is developing comprehensive capabilities encompassing design, integration, testing, technology development, training systems and operational support.
MSPO also provided an opportunity for numerous meetings with representatives of the Polish Armed Forces, the defence industry, domestic and international partners, and institutions involved in the development of modern technologies for security and defence. Four days of the exhibition brought many valuable discussions concerning both projects currently underway and potential directions for further cooperation.
For OBRUM, participation in the International Defence Industry Exhibition is not only an opportunity to showcase our own solutions, but also an important platform for exchanging knowledge, experience and market expectations. Direct contact with users and partners enables us to better understand the changing needs of the Polish Armed Forces and appropriately shape our future research and development activities.
This year’s edition confirmed the growing importance of solutions that combine advanced engineering with digital technologies, training systems and comprehensive user support. These are precisely the areas in which OBRUM intends to consistently develop its capabilities and portfolio.
